The Anti-SSA Ab test measures the presence of antibodies against the SSA antigen, useful for diagnosing and monitoring systemic lupus erythematosus and Sjögren's syndrome. We use the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) technique to ensure accurate and reliable results.
The sample must be serum (2 mL), free of hemolysis or lipemia. Avoid highly icteric samples or those exposed to excessive heat. Inform staff about any medications or supplements you are taking.
