The urinary metanephrines profile test measures total metanephrines, urinary metanephrines, normetanephrines, urinary creatinine, and the metanephrines/creatinine ratio. We use the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) technique to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Collect all urine voided over a 24-hour period in an appropriate container, acidify, refrigerate, and send a 50 mL aliquot. It is important to indicate the total volume of urine collected.
