Sample type: Option 1. Primary tube: Citrated blood 1 mL (9:1 ratio), discard the initial 3 mL from the venipuncture, send uncentrifuged and at a temperature between 2 - 8° C. No hemolysis, no lipemia, no icterus. Option 2. Secondary tube: Citrated plasma 1 mL (9:1 ratio), discard the initial 3 mL from the venipuncture, send centrifuged and transferred to a plastic tube, preferably frozen. No hemolysis, no lipemia, no icterus.
