The 24-hour urine serotonin test measures serotonin concentration to evaluate metabolic and neurological disorders. We use the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) technique.
Do not consume avocado, coffee, tea, plums, vanilla, pineapple, bananas, tomatoes, nuts, or medications for 3 days before the sample collection. Avoid these foods and medications for accurate results.
